I’m coming at you today with a few product reviews! I picked up these products a few weeks ago and I thought I’d let you know how I found them (these are my unbiased objective views).

I absolutely LOVED this deep conditioner! WOW! It’s definitely one of my new favourite products. I picked this up at Whole Foods a couple of weeks ago. I love the Giovanni Direct Leave In but I had never tried any other Giovanni products so I wanted to give this one a go. Firstly, it is really thick, which is something I look for in DCs because I find that lighter DCs don’t do a great job on my hair. And then the ultimate pro for me: IT HAD ENOUGH SLIP TO DETANGLE! I have only ever found ONE other shop-bought DC that I could detangle with. The fact that I could detangle with this one made my life much easier and cut down the time spent on wash day! *thumbs up* I simply sprayed water on my hair until it was wet (not dripping but wet enough), applied the product, finger detangled, covered with a plastic cap and I let it sit for about 2 hours. My hair was SO SOFT after! Definitely a new favourite of mine. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was that the bottle is not that big so if you have thick and/or long hair, it’ll probably run out quickly. Aside from that, I haven’t got anything bad to say about this product!

So I got this one at Boots a little while ago. Firstly, it smells really nice and it’s nice and light so it’s easy to spread on the hair. However, overall, I wasn’t at all impressed with this product. After deep conditioning and cowashing, I applied Kinky Curly Knot Today, then this product and I sealed with coconut oil then I did a braid out. The next day when I took the braids out, my hair was super soft and fluffy and I thought this was a new favourite product. BUTTTTT by the next morning, my hair was dry as the Sahara Desert. Literally felt like tumbleweed! And I know it was this product because everything else in my routine was kept the same. All in all, it was great for the first day but, beyond that, I wasn’t a fan. But it may work for you so feel free to try it!

Organix Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Conditioner
Organix has done it again, guys!!! This conditioner (which I bought at Boots) is AMAZING! When I first poured it into my hand to cowash, I was a bit sceptical because it’s not as thick as the conditioners I usually use and I thought “yeah this is never gonna work on my thick hair” but I was so wrong! I applied it to my hair and as I raked it through my hair, I began to feel the tangles melting away. I nearly cried! I have no idea what they put in this product to make it so good but it just slid through my hair with ease and made detangling MUCH easier! It also smells really nice! I can’t say that it stopped breakage or anything BUT the fact that the detangling process was much easier meant that I experienced less breakage will detangling (hope that makes sense lol!) This is definitely one of my new faves!
