Hey hey cuties!

How are you all?? As you can see, the blog has had a bit of a make over. I think it was definitely time to revamp everything! I hope you like it!

Anyone who has dry skin knows how much of a struggle good make up can be. You can do all the classic things and still end up with make up that looks dull and ashy – not cool. This is especially bad when your skin goes from normal to insanely dry. I’ve mentioned this many times before but my skin went from kinda dry to desert dry and I basically had to buy mostly new make up (yeah my bank account wasn’t happy lol!). Anyway, I thought I would share the make up that gives my insanely dry skin a healthy glow! I am by NO MEANS a make up expert by the way!!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Radiance

This primer is the bomb.com! I’ve tried sooo many primers and none of them have given me the healthy glow my skin needs. This primer does what it says on the packet – makes your skin radiant. And it has some real staying power! I put it on before my foundation and it stays on for hourssss with this primer. It contains some great, hydrating ingredients, such as glycerin, castor oil and jojoba oil (so it may not be great for those with oily skin!). (BUY HERE)

MAC Strobe Cream

This cream is so amazing! It’s kinda like a highlighter you wear underneath your foundation. I usually just apply this to the areas I want to highlight, such as my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. It really hides that ashy look those of us with dry skin can get. And a little goes a long way so I usually just buy the travel-size tube. (BUY HERE)

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Make Up Foundation

When my skin went crazy and dried out, finding foundation was a CHORE! My trusted Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation began to make my skin look dry and ashy (that was pretty depressing because it is a great foundation!). I searched high and low and found this Lancome one. It is fantastic! It really gives my skin a dewy glow. It has great coverage, it smells nice and it is very light so it’s ideal for daily use. I also love how this foundation has loadssss of different shades ( I use 460 Suede). It also contains SPF (yay!). (BUY HERE)

MAC Prep+Prime Fix+ Spray

I’m pretty sure everyone on earth knows about this spray lol and that’s no surprise. I usually spray this on my face before I put on my primer and foundation and then I use it again after my make up is done to just refresh it. This spray really moisturises my skin before applying make up and really refreshes my make up after I’ve had it on for a while. I even use this when I’m having a make up free day and I want to refresh my skin. The spray also comes in a handy travel size, which I pop into my bag for an on the go refresher. (BUY HERE)

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you already know I love this tinted moisturiser. I don’t like to wear foundation everyday but I usually want a bit of coverage and this moisturiser does the trick. As the name suggests, it actually does leave your skin looking radiant and fresh. Again, this one has SPF so it’s perfect for a day at the beach or by the pool too. I usually apply a little bit of my normal moisturiser underneath the tinted moisturiser to make sure my skin is REALLY moisturised. I use the shade, Cuba. (BUY HERE)

  • Lovely post, you should try the nars sheer glow foundation! I had the same problem with the all day luminous and recently switched to that, it’s amazing !
